HOW DOES THIS WORK?
New to Drivingmadeeasy or had lessons with Drivingmadeeasy before but have not booked in the last month? -
WhatsApp or call 0743222356 first so expectations or needs can be discussed for your lessons.
For example you may have booked your test before you had any lessons and we are already full therefore cannot help etc.
-
Access to the booking system will only be granted once discussed via WhatsApp/call if there is space.
-
Once we have agreed we can help then you can buy your lesson package online here.
-
Book your lessons online, 2- 3 lessons per week up to 3 weeks or more in advance else you may not get space. We manage our own calendars and expect you to do yours. We will off course guide you should you need help or even help with bookings but since we are mostly on the road it may take much longer than if you just book it online yourself.
-
Driving Lesson practice as well as tests are only done in Stellenbosch.

The driving school cars are manual.
You can also do lessons in your own vehicle be that a manual or automatic. Your vehicle need to be roadworthy (which is your responsibility) for lessons and will be inspected before your driving test.
For your driving lessons with the driving school car you will be taken to a more quiet area to start off with, even if you are experienced, to get use to the car.
If you are a beginner your driving lessons will continue in the quiet area until you have gained sufficient experience to be exposed to some traffic.
You may do your lessons barefoot but try to keep your practice consistent with whatever footwear you use to make the most of each session.
There are different disciplines that you need to master in your driving lessons that are needed to be safe and obviously before one can pass a driving test. (Mock tests will be done to prepare you for your test.)
The lessons will guide you to be as close to driving 'normally' as you can get and still pass your test, so make the most of each lesson. Come mentally prepared and if you have been given homework please do it.
Even though its mentioned here some students still arrive half asleep, without their learner license, not prepared ie have not watched the videos to prep themselves for their lessons, wasting money and lesson time.
With regard to how many lessons you may need -
-
5 Lessons - A totally independent driver who can get into any car and start driving with confidence in traffic after taking a few minutes to get use to the clutch and car controls. Such a person only need to learn the K53 for the test.
-
12-18 lessons - A total beginner, it depends entirely on how fast you learn and how confident and independent you can drive.
If your experience is in between these two extremes above, your lessons needed may also be in between these but realize that you will always have to be able to pass a mock test before you can pass a real test.
The key is to be consistent with your practice.
if you are doing lessons in your own auto car talk to us to get an idea of the amount you may need.
From our side the aim of your lessons is for you to develop into an independent, confident and safe driver.
